Overview
As a cat lover and UI/UX designer, I recently found myself on an exciting journey that brought together my affection for cats and my passion for design. It all started when I tried to send my cat to a local cat grooming and hotel service. While their services were great, I found their website to be outdated and difficult to navigate. I saw an opportunity to use my skills to help improve their online presence, and I'm excited to share the process and results with you!
The Problem
- Cluttered Layout - Information was scattered and difficult to find.
- Outdated Design - The website had an old-fashioned look that didn’t reflect the quality of their services.
- Poor Mobile Experience - Unresponsive design leading to frustration for users.
- Lack of Visual Appeal - The design didn’t showcase the warmth and care the business offers to our feline friends.
The Solutions
I approached the redesign with a goal to create a more engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing website that would better represent the high-quality services the business provides. Here’s how I did it:
User Research
I started by understanding the needs of their clients, both the cats and their owners. This involved gathering feedback from current customers and analyzing website analytics to identify pain points.
Wireframing and Prototyping
